I'm a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on digital illustration, animation and film. Exploring the subconscious, identity and existence, I strive to create rich atmospheres and characters throughout my work through a combination of visuals and sound. My work aims to portray the uncertainty and fragility of my own reality, the pure subjectivity of human perception and how that may create unease. I absorb the unforgiving turmoil of the world around myself, and my art is the response to it. My use of VHS effects, grungy textures and soundscapes I create myself add intrigue and depth to my work, representing a yearning anemoia, or a fuzzy dream you struggle to recall. My surrealist storytelling paints a picture into my own life, the struggles of living with mental illness, and reality viewed through a whimsical lens. I blend comedy and horror together, showcasing themes and visuals that are strikingly offputting in nature but tinged with an air of childlike playfulness and absurdity.
